Shipping & Returns

RETURNS: Books ordered from our online bookstore may be returned with a copy of the original invoice. No damaged, shop worn merchandise, or books ordered more than 12 months previous will be accepted. All merchandise must be free of store price labels. Any returned books deemed unsaleable will be sent back to customer with additional shipping due. Books ordered from our distributors should be returned through those channels.

TERMS: Net 30 days invoice. A service charge of 1% per month will be added to invoices unpaid for more than 60 days after billing date. Transportation and handling charges are additional on each order.

SHIPPING: We generally use UPS for all shipments, unless otherwise requested. Shipping rates are $4 for the first item and $1 per additional item.

EXAMINATION COPY POLICY: Professors at recognized institutions may request and examine Clements Publishing titles for potential classroom use. Exam copies are mailed with a provisional invoice billed at a 50% discount. Professors may examine the book for 30 days before taking one of the following actions: 1) adopt the textbook; 2) pay the invoice; 3) return the book. If the textbook is adopted and a direct order for 10 or more copies is placed with the publisher, the exam copy becomes a free desk copy. (Please notify us of the adoption and the order.) Exam copies are limited to one copy per title, per professor. We reserve the right to refuse examination copies to individuals who abuse the policy.
